We are seeking a
Technical Research Analyst
to support advanced research at the intersection of
AI/ML and modern energy infrastructure
. This position is geared toward individuals who are naturally curious, highly analytical, and excited about the convergence of data and power technologies.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating emerging technologies, building strategic insights, and supporting innovation initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis across markets, industries, and technology domains
  • Identifying and validating emerging tech trends related to the convergence of data and power
  • Evaluating technologies and business use cases to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Identifying universities, national labs, and industry partners for collaboration
  • Producing detailed documentation on technology evaluations, market studies, and roadmaps
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive research initiatives
  • Planning and facilitating domain-specific workshops
  • Applying strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, patterns, and trends
  • Using data analytics tools and methodologies to support research activities

Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Understanding of the electrical industry and emerging trends within the data + power convergence space

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Broader knowledge of disruptive and emerging technologies
  • Deeper understanding of the energy/electrical industry (multi-domain exposure preferred)
