Boofy's Best For Pets has openings for Senior Associates and Assistant Managers at both locations: our original Westside location at Paseo Del Norte and Golf Course, and our second location in Midtown near I-40 and San Mateo. This posting is for the original Westside location.

Ideal candidates will have some level of management experience in retail sales or other customer service oriented business, LOVE cats and dogs, are passionate about pet health and nutrition, and are great at providing top notch customer service.

This is a full time position with expectations of 40 – 45 hours per week.

Prospective employees must possess the following:

  • Understanding of the types of products we carry at Boofy's and why we feature them
  • Minimum 3 years experience providing outstanding customer service
  • Experience with inventory control, ordering, receiving, and restocking products
  • A deep interest in animal nutrition and feeding pets healthy diets
  • Solid understanding of human and pet nutrition concepts
  • Enthusiastic, positive and outgoing personality with a go-getter attitude, strong work ethic, and great communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work well with a team
  • Basic computer skills (including Word, Excel and Windows)
  • Experience using computerized ordering and inventory tracking systems
  • Experience receiving, stocking, tracking, counting inventory
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Reliable transportation
  • Nonsmoker
  • Available for shifts covering any store hours plus opening or closing, currently daily 9a-8p. Evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts required. Exact schedules TBD.
