Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team in a dynamic casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage staff effectively while collaborating with kitchen management to provide an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
- Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Utilize POSI POS system for order processing, inventory management, and sales tracking.
- Oversee food management practices, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Monitor dining room ambiance and cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
- Support catering events as needed, coordinating with the team to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the casual dining or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with shift management practices and effective team leadership skills.
- Experience with POSI POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous or catering settings is advantageous but not required.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
