Social Media Manager / Office Manager / Administrative Assistant

Flowtex Energy – Austin, TX (On-Site, Full-Time)

About the Role

Flowtex Energy is looking for a tech-savvy, organized Social Media & Office Manager to help build our online presence from scratch while supporting day-to-day administrative operations. Our team has no social media background, so we need someone who can bring their expertise, ideas, and confidence to lead this area.

This role is split 50% social media and 50% administrative/office support.

ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

  • Build and manage Flowtex's presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Create and schedule posts (short-form videos, graphics, photos, updates).
  • Capture and lightly edit simple video/photo content.
  • Track engagement and help establish a consistent posting strategy.
  • Bring ideas, best practices, and direction—you will be the social media expert for the team.

Office & Administrative Support

  • Assist with investor communications: emails, scheduling, and simple follow-ups.
  • Maintain basic reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documents.
  • Support office operations, expense tracking, receipts, and reimbursements.
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership as needed.
  • Keep the office organized and running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Strong tech and social media skills; confident using multiple platforms.
  • Basic editing abilities (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools).
  • Excellent communication and organization.
  • Ability to switch between content creation and administrative tasks.
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly (Excel, Outlook, CRM tools).
  • Prior social media or administrative experience preferred but not required.
