  • Appear at status hearings, pretrial conferences, settlement conferences, and full hearings.
  • Coordinate with paralegals, legal assistants, and medical experts to streamline case management and client communication.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing to support case strategy.
  • Maintain consistent, clear communication with clients — updating them on developments, deadlines, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys and firm leadership to meet case goals and firm objectives.
  • Meet performance metrics (e.g. caseload volume, turn-around times, client satisfaction) as established by firm leadership.
  • Uphold the firm's values, ethics, and professional standards in all internal and external interactions.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in and good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • 1–3 years of experience in workers' compensation, personal injury, or related litigation (or significant internship/externship experience).
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
