Job Description:

An elite Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust and Estates Associate Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with a strong background in trust and estate law to further their career with a reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding estate planning and trusts.
  • Draft, review, and finalize trust documents, wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Assist with the administration of estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay updated on changes in trust and estate law and apply findings to client cases.
  • Work closely with other attorneys and legal staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Experience:
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in trust and estate law.

Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensure:
Active member in good standing with the Illinois State Bar.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
