Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide comprehensive in-home care for a resident in Katy. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for individuals with various needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Administer medications
  • Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs
  • Support residents with memory care and other cognitive impairments through specialized techniques
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations, care provided, and progress notes
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning to uphold a hygienic environment
  • Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members

Qualifications

  • Proven Caregiver experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care settings
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia or memory care needs preferred
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for resident transfers or mobility assistance
  • Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety oversight
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as a live-in caregiver in Katy, Texas
