Job Summary
**$1,000 Sign on Bonus**
Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Baptist MD Anderson Breast Clinic, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40 hour a week commitment. This position does require traveling to the Downtown, Baptist South or Baptist Clay campus as needed.

Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant include:
- Provides assistance to the clinical team including the providers.
- Obtains vital signs Greets and chaperones patients during medical visits Telephone triage Patient education.
- Maintains rooms stock and exam room turnover Maintains medical documentation and patient intake to include preparation of charts Prepare medical equipment for sterilization.
- Assists with clinic procedures including preparation of sterile fields Collects and prepares laboratory specimens Assists with Staple, suture, drain removal as directed Prepare sterile field for in office procedures.
- Manage clinical equipment and supply inventory Serve as a liaison between physicians and other clinical members.
