Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant II in our Neurology Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for the Baptist Neurology Baptist South office. The candidate will be responsible for back office tasks for four providers. This role includes rooming patients, process prescription, chart prep and returning patient calls. Experience is preferred.
As a Medical Assistant II, you will be responsible for:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
