Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our team in our Lab Outreach department at our Nocatee Outpatient location. This is a full time, Monday through Friday day shift opportunity. This candidate must have pediatric draw experience.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:
- Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
- Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
- Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
- Utilizing computer functions.
