Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Southern California. The Service Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting customers, addressing inquiries, managing sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the HVAC and Plumbing Industry. The role involves maintaining industry product knowledge, Estimating, troubleshooting customer issues, and providing direction to Union Field employees on the Cradle to Grave type projects. To ensure the furthering of Couts' good name, Collaboration with the multiple departments and trades are paramount. Support team to meet sales goals in targeted vertical markets such as: Higher Education, K12, DOD Contractors, Manufacturing and Life Sciences, Facility managers of technical plants, Data Centers, and local Government buildings. Couts' great reputation for the most efficient and "Rightest way Possible" Foremen, Supers, Journeymen, Apprentices that our unions have ever created.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and interpersonal communication skills. HVAC and Plumbing a plus.
  • Proficiency in handling sales processes, order management, and negotiation.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using technology, AI, and Commercial Service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, where people depend on your performance.
  • Experience in sales and customer relationship roles is preferred, technician experience also preferred.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or TRADE SCHOOL is a plus.
  • Military Experience held in same regard as college or trade schools, but Military career retired is very preferred.
  • Multilingual skills are an advantage but not at all mandatory, ability to communicate well is more important by far.
