House of Granite is a family-run business proudly serving San Diego County with a wide selection of premium natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, dolomite) and man-made stone such as quartz. At our slab yard in Oceanside, customers can hand-select the perfect stone for their kitchens, bathrooms, and remodeling projects. Our mission is to bring nature's beauty into people's homes while making the process simple, inspiring, and enjoyable.

We are looking for a motivated and personable Sales Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with homeowners, designers, and contractors, but don't mind getting their hands dirty.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first class customer service by guiding clients through the slab selection process
  • Build strong connections with our homeowners, designers, and contractors.
  • Offer design guidance while respecting customer preferences
  • Educate customers on material selections (natural stone vs. quartz), including durability and maintenance considerations
  • Prepare quotes based on cabinet dimensions or drawings
  • Manage communications (calls, texts, emails) related to active and new projects
  • Schedule customer appointments and coordinate deliveries
  • Place material orders with distributors
  • Assist in maintaining our social media presence
  • Learn and safely operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
  • Help maintain a clean and welcoming showroom and yard

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual a plus)
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills, dependable work ethic, and a willingness to learn
  • Collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Interest in design, construction, or home remodeling is a bonus
  • Must be willing to work weekends as needed
