JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage and guide a team of AR Specialists. Oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure all AR activities comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure timely payments, manage collections and customer disputes, and resolve payment issues.
  • Match payments to invoices.
  • Prepare reports for accounts receivable reporting for month/quarter/year end.
  • Support audits.
  • Identify areas for improvement in AR processes and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to keep communication open.
  • Any other job-related duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION:

This position requires a 5+ years in accounts receivable. Advanced education a plus. Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Background in the Construction industry preferred, specifically in the area of billing and collections.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with COINS a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Products.
  • Require intermediate Excel skill level; working knowledge of Pivot Tables, Sum Functions, and V/X look ups.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues. Problem solve and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high volume work environment and pivot workload as needed and required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organization skills, time management, and attention to detail is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures and standards.
