Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP has an immediate opening for a Temporary Office Services & Reception Specialist in its Bridgeport office. This position is expected to last 3 to 4 months, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and firm needs.

Position Overview:

This role provides support in both Office Services and Reception. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to manage a variety of administrative and facilities-related responsibilities in a professional environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Office Services:

  • Complete all copy/print/scan requests from lawyers and staff, including binding, collation, and tabbing.
  • Perform quality reviews of completed projects and deliver materials to the requesting party.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute incoming U.S. mail, inter-office mail, and overnight packages daily.
  • Meter outgoing mail and prepare certified mail for delivery.
  • Log and deliver all incoming FedEx, UPS, or other courier packages.
  • Assist with conference room set-ups as needed.
  • Order and organize supplies for the mailroom and general office use.
  • Maintain printer stations: restock paper, troubleshoot issues, and contact vendors as needed.
  • Maintain kitchen areas: load/unload dishwasher, order weekly milk delivery, restock supplies, and ensure counters are clean.
  • Assist with file closing: enter closing information into the firm's case management system, pack files for storage, and coordinate with offsite facilities.

Reception:

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate extensions.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, accounts payable (A/P), and billing.
  • Provide administrative support to the Administrator, Bookkeeper, and Finance Manager.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of prior office services or customer service experience required; law firm experience preferred.
  • Previous switchboard, receptionist, or A/P data entry experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable with significant walking/standing and able to lift 40–50 lbs. (e.g., box of copy paper).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
