Technical Operations Manager

Washington, D.C

$130k to 150k + Bonus

We have partnered with a leading Building Services company in the Washington DC area, who are looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join their team.

You will lead a team responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support across equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with technical business leaders, facilities managers, and clients to forecast workload and deliverables.
  • Plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the team's daily activities to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Resolve conflicting priorities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement improved methods to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Coach team members and foster technical expertise across disciplines.
  • Influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to operational standards, processes, and plans to support functional goals.

Requirements:

  • First-Class Stationary Engineer license (DC 1st) required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and mathematical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130, $150,000.00 per year
