Medical Support – Dermatology Practice

Location: Panama City, FL (with travel to satellite offices as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16 per hour

Are you dependable, adaptable, and ready to take on a fast-paced, hands-on role in a thriving medical practice? Our busy dermatology office in Panama City, FL is seeking a motivated Medical Support professional to assist with prior authorizations for biologics and specialty medications, patient intakes, and general support for our providers and staff. This role will also include other administrative and clinical support tasks as needed, with occasional travel to satellite locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage prior authorizations for biologics and specialty medications
  • Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacy representatives, and insurance providers
  • Complete patient intakes and assist with ongoing patient coordination
  • Support providers and office staff in daily operations as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation
  • Provide administrative and general clinical support across locations

Qualifications:

  • Prior medical office experience is a plus, but we're open to training the right candidate
  • Strong communication, phone, and organizational skills
  • Professional and compassionate demeanor
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to satellite offices as needed
