Retail Sales and Social Media Associate

Hey there We are seeking a part-time retail sales and social media associate with a genuine passion for natural beauty and candle products to join our team. Your mission? To ensure our diverse customer base has the best shopping experience ever You must be able to sell a variety of products to meet and exceed goals. You will be the go-to person for all things skincare, bath, body, and candles, helping customers find the perfect products for their needs, lifestyle, and desires. You will also be responsible for merchandising the store, placing products, keeping the store clean, stocked, and organized, and educating customers on the product assortment to move them from inquiry to sale. You will also be responsible for creating content for social media by taking product photos and videos, interviewing customers, creating stories, collecting customer data, and creating other marketing collateral. You may be working on website content as well. You must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the business needs. The schedule is flexible; therefore, you can work 2-4 days a week across the different store locations. This is a part-time seasonal position that may extend throughout the year. The Great Things You'll Do:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering knowledgeable assistance to convert inquiries to sales, being mindful of upselling and cross-selling products, and paying special attention to loyal customers.
• Educate customers on all products and the advantages of using natural skincare and beauty products, highlighting their benefits for optimal skin health.
• Engage with customers in store, on social media, and via email to drive sales and enhance brand awareness by actively participating in store and online promotions and events.
• Capture key product photos, create videos of customer testimonials and engagement with the products to post on social media, and effectively relay client feedback.
• Operate the cash register with precision by also capturing client data, and ensuring accurate transaction processing while adhering to established checkout standards.
• Maintain a meticulously organized and visually appealing store environment that fosters a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor inventory levels diligently, promptly restocking products to prevent stockouts and maintain product availability.
• Assist in receiving shipments, packaging products, stocking shelves, ensuring proper product placement, and organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A passion for natural skincare, beauty, and candle products.
• Exceptional customer service capabilities.
• Experience with creating content and using social media platforms. Experience with creating and editing photos and videos is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal proficiency.
• Ability to multitask, work solo, and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
• Prior retail sales experience and working with beauty brands are preferred.
• Availability to work full days and weekends.
• Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• High school diploma and basic math skills. A degree in marketing or a related field is a plus.
• Must possess a strong work ethic and persuasion strategies and techniques to close sales, upsell products, and cross-sell products.
• Ability to manage time wisely.

Based on experience, starting salary $18-$20 per hour, plus tips, bonuses, and a monthly product allowance
