Video Editor Intern

About BuilderFellows BuilderFellows is a global edtech initiative creating one of the most prestigious international summer programs for high-school students. We collaborate with Ivy League graduates, CEO-CXOs, and industry leaders to provide transformative experiences that empower young builders to innovate, lead, and create real-world impact.

Position Overview: We're seeking a passionate Video Editor Intern to help us design, maintain, and optimize BuilderFellows' web platforms for our fast-growing community of international students. You'll work closely with content production, media team, designers, product leads, and marketing teams to bring interactive and meaningful digital experiences to life.

Time Commitment Flexible part-time: 10–20 hours per week. The role starts immediately and can be performed remotely.

Role Description

  • Create and edit promotional videos, short-form reels, and testimonial clips
  • Repurpose existing footage into high-impact storytelling formats
  • Collaborate with our content and marketing team to maintain consistent visual branding
  • Add captions, effects, and animations to enhance engagement
  • Implement feedback quickly in a high-paced, creative environment

Requirements

  • Proficiency with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut Pro
  • Strong storytelling instincts and understanding of social media trends
  • Ability to edit for both short-form and long-form formats
  • Attention to visual detail, pacing, and transitions
  • Self-driven and comfortable managing multiple deadlines remotely

Compensation: Paid internship: $15–25 USD/hour or local minimum wage, whichever is higher.

Eligibility: Must be a high school or college student with a valid student/college email address.
