Brightview Senior Living is excited to share that due to an internal transfer, we are looking for a wonderful Nurse to fill the role of Health Services Director (DON / Resident Care Director) at Brightview in Wakefield, MA

The Health Services Director (sometimes known as the Director of Nursing or Resident Care Director) exemplifies the vision, the mission, and the vibrancy of the organization and leads the delivery of exceptional clinical care to our residents. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop and lead a team of Licensed Nursing Associates and provide clinical supervision to MedTechs and Resident Assistants. Under your leadership, the team will work together to implement comprehensive resident care plans that meet the high Brightview standards of nursing practice and comply with appropriate regulations.

  • You will get to provide nursing assessments and care oversight and identify clinical trends for Assisted Living residents and for those in our Wellspring Village who receive memory care support. 
  • It will be important to inspire your team as a leader.  You may need to implement corrective action. 
  • Monitor the accurate delivery of medications to our residents.
  • Work with the residents' physicians and medical personnel on the best plan of action for their continued care.
Salary Range

USD $120, USD $130,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Nursing license required (LPN or RN).
  • Experience in geriatric nursing or gerontology and dementia care (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a health care supervisory role (preferred).
  • Solid computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of associates, residents and family members.
  • Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Ability to function as a team leader as well as work as a contributor in a team environment.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Strong communication skills.
