Yatooma CPAs & Advisors, P.C. is a growing CPA firm in Bloomfield Hills, MI that provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to businesses and individuals. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to assist our principal CPA with a variety of administrative, billing, and accounting projects.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety and takes initiative. You'll handle day-to-day office operations, assist with billing, support accountants with data entry for tax returns and forms, and help implement new systems or client communications. The role is perfect for someone who likes to stay organized, work independently, and support multiple priorities in a professional office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general office administration and assist with special projects (implementing new systems, sending client notifications, preparing letters, etc.)
- Handle billing and invoicing — prepare client invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate records
- Support the accounting team with data entry for1099s, business and individual tax returns, and other client forms using UltraTax
- Organize and scan tax return documents, confirm completeness, and follow up on missing items
- Maintain organized digital and physical client files
- Provide administrative support to the owner and accounting staff as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients by phone and email
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with UltraTax, QuickBooks, or other accounting software a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Professional communication and discretion with confidential information
- Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
