Product Management at Crunchbase

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Crunchbase's technical product experiences - including APIs, SDKs, and integrations. You'll empower customers, partners, and developers to seamlessly access and embed Crunchbase data into their workflows.

In this role, you'll drive how Crunchbase data powers the next generation of agentic applications and AI-driven tools of our customers, ensuring our APIs operate seamlessly and efficiently within that ecosystem. You'll also own the scalability, reliability, and impact of our CRM and go-to-market integrations, enabling customers to derive maximum value from Crunchbase data at scale.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical acumen with strong product instincts, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence across teams and functions. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality, and high-impact technical products.

What You'll Do:
  • Product Ownership: Define, prioritize, and drive the roadmap for Crunchbase APIs, SDKs, and integrations with external platforms and tools.
  • Strategy & Vision: Develop the long-term vision for how APIs and integrations extend Crunchbase's value proposition across customer and partner ecosystems.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Deeply understand developer, partner, and enterprise customer needs through research, feedback, and analytics. Translate these into product requirements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, data science, sales, and customer success to deliver high-quality product experiences.
  • Developer Experience: Champion ease-of-use, reliability, and scalability for external developers and partners consuming Crunchbase data.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate the ability and willingness to get hands-on with technology—whether writing scripts, building sample applications, or debugging API use cases.
  • Technical Execution: Leverage your technical fluency to bridge product and engineering to build the right product architecturally, while helping external developers succeed by offering practical, integration guidance when needed.
  • Evangelism: Represent Crunchbase APIs and integrations internally and externally, driving alignment and adoption.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including 3+ years in a technical or platform product role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven success managing API-first or platform products, ideally within a SaaS or data-focused company
  • Strong Technical fluency: able to understand APIs, data models and integrations architectures
  • Strong customer empathy, with a proven track record of translating developer and partner needs into product outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional product development.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
