Company Overview

Pay is based on Flat Rate Hours with a Guarantee and a 5-day work week.

Auburn Automotive is located on Opdyke Road just south of South Blvd. We have been family owned and operated since 1990. Due to continued growth, we are presently looking to add (1) Certified Auto Technician. Qualifications include:

  • One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
  • State Mechanic Certificates
  • Able to work within a Team Environment
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Clean Drug Screen
  • Positive Attitude

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems including powertrains and diesel engines is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
