About Us:
At SynergenX, we are expanding rapidly and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through thoughtfully designed and fully equipped clinical facilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Construction Project Manager to lead the development and expansion of new clinic sites, ensuring every location aligns with our growth strategy and operational standards. Our clinical sites function like a MSO/DSO/QSR. We do not function like a Hospital.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of clinic build-outs—from site selection and design to construction, activation, and operational handoff. This role blends technical construction expertise, healthcare facility knowledge, and strategic project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with all relevant regulations. You will serve as a critical liaison between leadership, vendors, and field operations, presenting site analyses and project updates to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP of Strategy and Growth to align clinic development projects with the company's expansion roadmap.
- Lead end-to-end project management of multi-site clinic build-outs, including site selection, design, permitting, construction, inspection, and activation.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines; report progress and variances to leadership.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Oversee procurement and installation of medical equipment, IT infrastructure, and furnishings for operational readiness.
- Ensure all projects comply with healthcare, building, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain accountability across all partners.
- Facilitate smooth handoff of completed sites to operations teams, ensuring readiness for patient care.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for clinic development processes to support scalable growth.
- Maintain proactive communication with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, IT, and Clinical leadership.
- Analyze and present site selection findings to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders for approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive project management experience in construction, facilities, or healthcare clinic build-outs. Must have experience with MSO/QSR like buildouts
- Proven experience delivering multi-site construction or renovation projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, design standards, and regulatory requirements for healthcare or medical facilities.
- Demonstrated experience working with Private Equity ownership.
- Experience in multi-unit retail development, tenant improvements, and/or de novo site build-outs is highly desirable.
- Analytical expertise in site selection and ability to present findings to executive leadership and PE stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and vendors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Real Estate connections highly preferred.
Travel:
40% travel required to project sites (travel will be outside of Texas).
Why Join Us:
- Play a critical role in the growth of a dynamic, patient-focused healthcare organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and influence strategic decisions.
- Opportunity to lead high-impact projects with visibility to executive and private equity stakeholders.
