About the Role:

We are seeking a
Senior Associate – Data Analytics (Python & AWS)
to join our growing team supporting
UnitedHealth Group
. This position focuses on developing and deploying
AI-driven analytics solutions
that leverage
AWS cloud infrastructure
and
LLM-based systems
.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
Python, AWS services, and data orchestration
, along with a deep understanding of
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
and
AgentCore
frameworks. You will work alongside a talented cross-functional team to design, build, and deploy production-ready data and AI models that improve healthcare analytics and business decision-making.

This is a
fully remote role
(EST or CST hours), offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and data initiatives within a Fortune 10 healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy
    AI agents
    using
    AWS AgentCore
    , designed for modularity, reuse, and governance.
  • Implement
    MCP orchestration
    to integrate LLMs, APIs, and skill bots across execution workflows.
  • Enable
    Agent-to-Agent (A2A) collaboration
    , facilitating communication and task delegation in real time.
  • Develop
    domain-specific agents
    that maintain context continuity across voice and chat channels.
  • Wrap enterprise systems and services as
    MCP tools
    for seamless AI invocation and integration.
  • Deliver observability capabilities (logging, monitoring, latency tracking, and performance metrics).
  • Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Conversational Design teams to ensure scalable, compliant delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience with
    AWS AgentCore
    and building modular Stands.
  • Deep understanding of
    MCP orchestration
    and A2A communication patterns.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Python
    and/or
    TypeScript
    for agent logic and integration.
  • Expertise in
    AWS services
    including Lambda, Bedrock, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with
    LLM-based applications
    , guardrails, and compliance (HIPAA/PII).
  • Ability to design systems supporting
    parallel execution
    ,
    multi-intent handling
    , and
    failover scenarios
    .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in the
    healthcare industry
    or familiarity with healthcare data standards.
  • Experience working in
    AI/ML-focused data analytics
    environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
