Restoration Sales Estimator

Restoration with H.E.A.R.T: Honesty & Integrity, Exacting Quality, Attentive Service, Respect, & Tireless Communication.

Primary job Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact with the adjuster. Detailed documentation of approvals, policy limits, and other discussions with the adjuster is required.
  • Attend initial site walk/scope or send a Project Coordinator to do so if it is determined they will not need to be present to obtain an accurate scope.
  • Will collect a detailed scope: accurate sketch, detailed photos of affected and unaffected areas, scope notes with corresponding measurements of work required, and collection of ITEL sample.
  • Walking customers through the restoration process and signing jobs.
  • Writing thorough and complete estimates within 24 hours of scope walks and uploading to insurance companies.
  • Will be responsible for estimate revision requests, which should be addressed in 24 hours or less.
  • Supplements and change orders should be written within 48 hours of request from Coordinator and receipt of proper documentation.
  • All estimates, supplements, and change orders should meet the company's profit criteria.
  • May be asked to assume additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of Estimating Experience with Xactimate
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred, but not required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledgeable of the construction/restoration industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
