Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant/Administrator to manage the financial and administrative tasks for our multi-location business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in bookkeeping, transaction reconciliation, and payroll processing, with excellent communication skills to handle internal and external correspondence. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial accuracy and smooth operation of our various business locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all business locations.
- Record and categorize all income and expenses, ensuring proper allocation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Transaction Reconciliation:
- Reconcile transactions between multiple business locations on a regular basis.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in a timely manner.
- Ensure all inter-company transactions are correctly recorded and balanced.
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll for employees across all locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
- Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and other payroll deductions.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
Administrative and Communication:
- Follow up on emails and other communications from various stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and management.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with multi-location businesses is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Pay: $40, $60,000.00 per year
