Loan Officer Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of mortgage experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support our Loan Officers with daily administrative and client-related tasks. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the loan process.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to Loan Officers in all stages of the loan process.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional, courteous assistance to clients and business partners.
- Collect and organize borrower documentation and follow up as needed.
- Prepare, review, and submit loan files to processing and underwriting.
- Maintain accurate client and loan information in company systems.
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and third-party vendors to ensure timely updates.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking loan milestones, and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and lending regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the lending team as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry (required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage CRM systems.
