Position Overview

We're looking for a Prep Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, professional kitchen and takes pride in precision, consistency, and teamwork. This role supports our Executive Chef and culinary leadership team in preparing high-quality dishes and organizing ingredients for both on-site and off-site events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily prep lists, including chopping, portioning, marinating, and labeling
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the prep kitchen
  • Assist with packing, loading, and unloading for off-site events
  • Ensure all food is stored properly and labeled according to safety standards
  • Support culinary staff with event setup and on-site execution as needed
  • Follow recipes and directions with accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional kitchen experience (catering experience a plus)
  • Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
  • ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
