Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with internal and external audits. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, payment preparation, and vendor management.
  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP and Finance departments.
  • Ensure invoices, checks, and other financial documents are properly sorted and filed.
  • Review and reconcile corporate credit card expenses.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or other issues.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Perform journal entries and support month-end closing activities, including depreciation, credit card reconciliation, and accrued expense entries.
  • File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns and prepare related reconciliations.
  • Prepare 1099 forms and property tax filings.
  • Perform cross-functional responsibilities and collaborate with the Accounting and Finance departments to ensure accurate data collection and tax preparation.
  • Handle administrative duties related to monthly and quarterly reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Dependable, proactive, and customer-focused
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred
