Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Junior Account Executive (Jr. AE) to support our growing IT staffing business. This hybrid role blends business development and marketing enablement, driving new client acquisition while building brand presence through creative outreach and content initiatives.
  • You will work closely with senior sales leaders and the CEO to identify prospects, build relationships, execute outreach campaigns, and develop innovative marketing strategies that connect with decision-makers in target accounts.
  • This position will feature a growth path into more senior level Account Management positions

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking events, and referrals
  • Identify, research, and qualify potential client organizations within target markets and verticals
  • Leverage candidate references and warm leads provided by the sales team to initiate new conversations
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities
  • Partner with senior account executives to develop strategic account plans and expand key relationships
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Qualify leads, schedule client meetings, and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Schedule qualified client meetings and participate in discovery calls to support sales pipeline growth.

Marketing

  • Develop and execute email marketing cadences targeting decision-makers
  • Collaborate with leadership to create marketing content, including outreach templates, pitch decks, and case studies
  • Experiment with new digital marketing techniques, such as personalized video messaging, to increase engagement
  • Manage and track outbound marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics and refining strategies
  • Partner directly with the CEO to conceptualize and deliver marketing content, including thought leadership, industry updates, and event promotions

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, or marketing, preferably in the IT staffing or professional services industry
  • Some understanding of sales dynamics, including client acquisition cycles and candidate sourcing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in cold calling and video-based outreach
  • Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new marketing tools and strategies
  • Organized, data-driven, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
