Description of Position

The Milestone Group is a leading national real estate investment firm that focused on the U.S. multifamily sector. The firm relies on rigorous research, analytics and active investment management which the firm has combined to deliver industry leading returns over the past 20 years and across $9 billion of real estate investments.

Milestone is looking for a Fund Accountant with strong technical accounting skills to support the firm's continued business growth. This position will primarily focus on financial accounting and investor reporting for multiple real estate funds and related entities. The Fund Accountant will interact with other departments and functions including Legal, Acquisition, Capital Markets and Portfolio Management, and Asset Management.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field

· years of experience in real estate private equity fund Accounting

· Proven strong technical skills in real estate fund accounting, partnership accounting, private equity waterfall and

carried interest calculation, and real estate valuation

· Prior hands-on experience with Yardi Investment Management preferred

· Superior attention to detail and excellent communication (both oral and written) and analytical skills

· Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and high energy environment and be multitasking

· Must have good work ethics and positive attitude, and be self‐motivated and able to work both independently and in

a team environment

· Must be willing to work on-site.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Maintain the books and records for private equity funds and the related entities

· Prepare the Funds' quarterly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and

partners' equity walk-forward statement) and quarterly investor reporting packages

· Prepare investor capital statements, capital call / distribution notices, and waterfall calculations

· Coordinate with asset management and third-party property managers in the monthly property level financial

reporting process

· Facilitate annual audit and tax preparation processes; work closely with external tax accountants to facilitate timely

completion of tax returns and preparation of tax payments; work closely with external auditor in the year-end audit

project for all private equity fund and joint venture entities

· Respond timely and accurately to ad hoc information requests from external investors and joint venture partners

· Perform special projects and analysis for senior management team
