Job Overview

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing New York
team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract - with the view of going perm.

Ideally, you'll bring experience working in-house within the creative industry -
preferably in a social media or influencer marketing agency environment.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in managing the end-to-
end recruitment process, supporting hiring managers to deliver an exceptional
candidate experience. Partnering closely with our HR Manager and Talent
Acquisition Director, you'll focus on sourcing, screening, coordinating
interviews, and contributing to various recruitment initiatives and projects.

You'll also help us ensure our hiring processes are inclusive, efficient, and data-
driven, while continuously looking for ways to improve how we attract and
assess great talent.

As our business continues to grow, this role offers plenty of opportunity to
influence and shape our approach to hiring and make a real impact on how we
build our teams

Responsibilities

● You will predominantly be responsible for managing job boards,
sourcing for assigned positions, qualifying talent, and
facilitating interviews.
● Supporting on sourcing candidates directly through your
network, LinkedIn, and other social media sites, relying
minimally on outside staffing agencies
● Supporting on conducting initial phone and video screens of
applicants
● Help to build strong, diverse pipelines of quality talent for
various positions across all departments
● Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal
stakeholders, agreeing on and coordinating deliverables and
priorities
● Consistently use our applicant tracking system (Teamtailor) to
funnel candidates through the interview process and ensure
hiring managers are using the system
● Good knowledge of direct candidate attraction methods;
including social media, advertising channels, talent
pooling/pipelining, and sourcing

● Ability to promote BDB as an employer of choice by creating
engaging recruitment marketing content

Skills & Attributes

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Previous recruitment experience - ideally in Advertising
● Demonstrate proactive approach.
● Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
● Knowledge of ATS system - we use Teamtailor
● Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and
deadlines.
● Organised and detail-oriented is a must.
● 4+ years experience in a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition role.
