Are you a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in your work? We're seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to help maintain safe, functional, and comfortable homes for our residents. From fixing a leaky faucet to prepping units for new tenants, your work matters—and makes a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including:
  • Drywall patching and painting
  • Replacing light fixtures and door hardware
  • Basic plumbing tasks like unclogging drains and changing faucets
  • Diagnose maintenance issues and determine next steps
  • Respond to service requests quickly and professionally
  • Support move-in and move-out inspections
  • Maintain tools and a clean, safe work area
  • Communicate effectively with residents and property management
  • Keep detailed maintenance records and reports

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of residential maintenance or similar experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC basics
  • Comfortable using hand tools and equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Work Schedule:

  • On-site at residential properties in Anchorage
  • May require weekends or on-call availability for emergencies
