Your hands-on experience and mechanical knowledge will be essential as you work with advanced systems and technologies, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engines. What you'll do

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, and alignment
  • Work on complex systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and automotive electrical systems
  • Utilize schematics for troubleshooting and repairing various vehicle components
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering any questions

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong mechanical knowledge base
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with ADAS technologies and diesel engine repair is highly desirable

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a dealership environment or with GM vehicles
  • Knowledge of auto estimating processes and auto body repair techniques
  • Welding skills are a plus
