About The Role
As a CBRE Property Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and financial performance of a commercial real estate portfolio totaling approximately 700,000 square feet.

This position falls within our Property Management function, which focuses on delivering exceptional building and facility management services on behalf of clients. The goal is to ensure optimal functionality, tenant satisfaction, and financial success. Property Managers play a critical role in operating buildings efficiently and effectively to meet client objectives.

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients and tenants, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues with professionalism and urgency.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and complete reports to stakeholders.
  • Provide formal supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new staff.
  • Monitor training and development to ensure team growth and readiness.
  • Set clear goals, track progress, and mentor staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Set and monitor departmental deadlines to ensure timely execution of responsibilities.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex operational issues.
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare legal notices for approval in accordance with lease terms and regulations.
  • Help develop and implement emergency recovery programs to safeguard property operations.
  • Lead by example and promote behaviors aligned with CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).
  • Influence and collaborate across teams to reach shared goals.
  • Apply cross-disciplinary knowledge to support team and departmental objectives.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant property management experience; Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong financial acumen with proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • California Real Estate License required or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame
  • Solid understanding of commercial lease structures and terms
  • Experience in construction management or project management highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set performance expectations, and coach for success
  • Skilled in managing sensitive, complex, and challenging communications with stakeholders
  • Ability to influence team impact on quality, efficiency, and departmental effectiveness
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes

California Residents:
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Property Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Property Manager position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
