Opportunity
:

Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, Double Wood has recently expanded its footprint into the New York City region and is looking to add key members to this office. The Manager, Finance and Accounting at Double Wood Supplements is responsible for supporting all aspects of day to day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role combines hands-on accounting and financial analysis to support a highly efficient, cross-functional team and help drive strategic business growth. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. This role will report directly to the CFO.

Job Responsibilities
:

Accounting Operations

●       Manage day to day financial operations including processing payables invoices, posting daily cash for accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Responsible for all inventory reconciliations at 3rd party locations, performed as part of monthly close process.

●       Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records across multiple revenue channels (DTC website, Amazon, and wholesale).

●       Responsible for bookkeeping, transaction processing, and reporting accuracy.

●       Participate in monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and precision.

Financial Reporting

●       Provide support with external audits, tax filings, annual reports, and financial statements.

●       Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

●       Support leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; monitor and explain variances.

●       Ad Hoc financial analysis, as needed

Requirements
:

●       Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
or
related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

● years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in eCommerce, CPG, or manufacturing.

●       Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel proficiency.

●       Experience managing financial integrations with eCommerce and fulfillment platforms.

●       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

●       Able to independently manage accounting functions while collaborating effectively with teams across multiple departments.
