Bachelor's degree in health care, human services, business, or public administration.
Four years' experience in case management, including complex cases.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Medicaid Health and Resource Branch.
This position is responsible for researching, developing, and subsequently implementing a complex care program and serves as the lead case manager. The position will report directly to the executive Director, Medicaid, and Health Services Branch.
The position will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the complex care management initiative with support from MHSB and Division leadership. The member population will include significantly complex medical conditions and/or social-economic or mental health co-morbidities. This position will be responsible for managing multiple highly complex cases simultaneously.
