Role Overview

We are seeking
Senior Proxy Engineers
with deep expertise in
Broadcom (Blue Coat) Proxy solutions
and strong hands-on experience with
SaaS-based Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
platforms. The ideal candidates will have a blend of technical depth in proxy technologies, automation, and scripting, along with strong problem-solving skills to manage and optimize secure internet access for a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and optimize
    Broadcom ProxySG / ASG
    and related components (Policy, CPL, SSL Intercept, Authentication, etc.).
  • Support and integrate
    SaaS-based Secure Web Gateways (SWG)
    and cloud security platforms (e.g.,
    Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Access
    ).
  • Design, implement, and maintain proxy policies, security rules, and access controls aligned with enterprise security standards.
  • Perform
    incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
    for proxy-related and internet access issues.
  • Lead
    proxy migrations, upgrades, and cloud transition initiatives
    ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain
    automation scripts
    using
    Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs
    for configuration management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with
    Security, Network, and Infrastructure
    teams to ensure consistent and secure connectivity across hybrid environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed
    technical documentation
    , and provide
    knowledge transfer and process improvements
    .

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience managing and supporting
    Broadcom ProxySG / ASG / Management Center
    .
  • Strong experience with
    SaaS-based SWG platforms
    (Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of
    policy creation, SSL interception, authentication mechanisms
    , and
    content filtering
    .
  • Proficiency in
    automation, scripting, and API integrations
    (Python, PowerShell, REST).
  • Strong knowledge of
    HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL certificates, and general network security fundamentals
    .
  • Experience in
    24x7 managed service environments
    , with proven independent troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent
    documentation, communication, and stakeholder management
    skills.

Good to Have

  • Certifications such as
    Broadcom Blue Coat Certified Proxy Administrator / Professional (BCCPA / BCCPP)
    or
    Zscaler Certified Engineer (ZCCA / ZCSP)
    .
  • Experience with
    SIEM
    and
    SOAR
    tools for event correlation and automation.
  • Exposure to
    cloud security
    and
    proxy automation frameworks
    .
