MIM Software is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Application Specialist focused on Radiation Oncology (RO) and Urology applications to join our team. This customer-facing role is critical for ensuring our customers—including physicians, technologists, and clinical staff—achieve optimal performance and clinical outcomes using our image processing software.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical education to end-users (physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, technologists etc.) aligned with the sales order agreement (SOA) to achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Coordinate and deliver on-site and virtual customer training, including pre-training planning, patient "go-live" support, and essential post-go-live training.
- Drive revenue realization through the efficient and timely execution of clinical education delivery.
- Ensure consistent and timely completion of all documentation requirements throughout the pre- to post-training phases.
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships, serving as the primary interface between the customer and MIM Software (GEHC) during the implementation phase.
- Facilitate the customer hand-off to the Customer Success team post-go-live and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Provide clear insights into the customer's clinical operations and digital workflow for effective post-deployment engagement by the Customer Success team.
- Develop deep product, clinical, and software competence within the RO and Urology applications.
- Apply theoretical knowledge with clinical and product information to empower clinicians to obtain optimal performance from the image processing software.
- Advise and potentially create/adjust software scripts and configurations and conduct testing to facilitate immediate customer needs.
- Coordinate more complex software script modifications through appropriate channels to optimize system performance.
- Provide pre-sale product clinical evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers as needed.
- Continuously broaden your own clinical and technical skill set to execute a solid training strategy.
- Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication ("touches") and relay all relevant product and/or customer concerns or opportunities to Management, Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support.
- Serve as the professional MIM Clinical Application Specialist, explaining clinical and complex technical information to various staff levels, including Radiologists, physicists, and facility management.
- Possess a basic understanding of key business drivers and how the work integrates with other internal teams.
- Communicate relevant product intelligence, including customer concerns, opportunities, and competitive information, to appropriate internal parties.
- Ensure a compliant, ethical culture and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
- Expeditiously communicate appropriate customer questions to Medical Science and collaborate with CMO partners as required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of imaging experience with at least three (3) years specifically in radiology, radiation therapy or dosimetry.
- ARRT, CMD or equivalent certification specific to the radiation oncology field is preferred.
- A four-year Bachelor's degree program from an accredited university is preferred, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Must be comfortable working in a clinical/patient environment.
- Required to travel extensively (at least 80%; 4-5 days per week, including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada (USCAN).
- Residence must be located no more than one (1) hour from a major airport.
- Will be required to register with various vendor credentialing services, including proof of immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis) and drug screening.
- Proficient use of software applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to quickly learn specialized, industry-specific software to provide digital education solutions.
- Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Good Clinical and Technical Knowledge to resolve issues within established procedures, with the judgment to consult senior team members for issues outside defined parameters.
- Autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling and managing documentation requirements.
For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $89,600.00-$134,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
