Job Overview:

The Staff Contracts Administrator oversees the entire contract life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring full compliance throughout.

Work Model: Remote

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements (TAs), proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, as well as providing contractual support to government clients.
  • Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach.
  • Provide advice and counsel on risk issues, proposal strategies, and client and customer relationship management.
  • Maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial.
  • Collaboration with the Finance team to ensure accurate contract values, funding, deadlines, and other financial requirements are met.
  • Maintaining a centralized file and documentation system for all contract-related materials is also part of the duties.
  • Additional responsibilities are assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Five (5) years of direct experience working with U.S. Federal Government and DoD contracts in a contract administration capacity.
  • Must possess an understanding of contract principles, theories, concepts, and regulations, with experience demonstrating a broad application of these practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, interpreting, and administering contracts, including change management, for U.S. Government Agencies.
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and other relevant agency supplemental regulations.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Able to travel domestic and internationally as needed to support program and capture needs.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-hire drug test.
