Line Cook

We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about food and beverage, has a friendly personality and eagerness to provide guests with a great dining experience. Our restaurant strives to provide friendly, knowledgeable and professional service. Cutter/Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the team with their daily tasks and is responsible for making sure that food is prepared to the exact specifications of the establishment.

Requirements:

  • Solid Knife Skills are a must
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, cutting meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow Owner/GM instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Self-motivated with a strong work-ethic
  • Team-player with a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
