Role Description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales efforts within the Southern California, Arizona, Utah market. Additionally, I am adding a Regional Sales Manager for Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. These full-time, remote positions focus on developing and managing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and meeting sales quotas. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and engaging potential customers, conducting presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success. The Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in supporting Bigbelly's mission to transform public spaces into cleaner, more efficient environments. Each Regional Sales Manager must reside in either Southern California for the role in the West and Ohio or Michigan for the Mid-West role. Travel between multiple states is required by territory (30% travel)

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development background with expertise in building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and meeting sales goals
  • Experience in consultative selling, negotiating contracts, and providing tailored customer solutions
  • Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and generate growth within assigned regions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, data-driven decision-making, and using analytics to manage sales performance
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of waste and recycling industry or public space solutions is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
