Cox Automotive is seeking an experienced Technology Operations Communications Manager to assist with communication support for complex internal technology deployments and operations initiatives. This is a tactical, execution-focused role supporting technology operations deployments. The ideal candidate has strong stakeholder management skills and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining clear, actionable communication.

This is a 12-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Technology Operations Communications Manager:
- Develop and execute communication on internal technology deployments, systems implementations, and infrastructure changes to technical and non-technical audiences
- Consult and collaborate with Enterprise Technology & Engineering stakeholders and project teams to ensure accurate information flow and informed decision-making
- Align editorial calendar planning across the communications team to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging activities happening across the department and company
- Establish, manage, and ensure use of company-approved communications templates, policies, procedures, and guides
- Provide direct counsel to technology and engineering SMEs on communication approaches and messaging, in partnership with change management adoption strategies as appropriate
- Partner with Product & Technology communication team to align stakeholders on deployment timelines and impact
- Craft detailed, accurate, and concise messages, tailored to the author, vehicle, and audience on a range of topics
- Adhere to the company's style guide and templates, ensuring we produce high-quality and error-free work
- Translate complex technology topics into clear and engaging messaging for non-technical audiences
- Manage communication workflows and approval processes while maintaining tight deployment timelines
- Support change management initiatives by developing targeted communications that drive user adoption
- Use and maintain communication templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for future deployments
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications of the Technology Operations Communications Manager:
- Degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or related field
- At least 5 years of employee communication experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale technology implementations, system migrations, or infrastructure deployments
- Proven track record managing communications in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
