Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of HRIS systems, employment law, and strategic planning. The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering employee development to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including succession planning and organizational design.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes such as sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms like Taleo, Workday, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and facilitating effective conflict management strategies.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans; ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Lead performance management initiatives through employee evaluations, training & development programs, and continuous feedback systems.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law (FMLA, OSHA), contracts, and company policies; manage HR documentation using systems like ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
- Conduct HR data analysis for workforce planning and process improvement; utilize HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft for data collection and reporting.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to promote company culture and values; support leadership in strategic planning and change management efforts.
- Manage HR sourcing activities to attract top talent; oversee HR program management to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Taleo, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, Paylocity or Ceridian.
- Excellent communication skills for presentations and stakeholder engagement at senior leadership levels.
- Demonstrated ability in change management processes and process improvement initiatives.
- Skilled in data analysis for workforce insights and decision-making; proficient in budgeting and program management.
- Leadership qualities with supervising experience in human resources functions; adept at training & development initiatives.
