About the Role:

North Cabinet Company is seeking an experienced Cabinet Finisher/Painter to join our high-quality custom cabinet manufacturing team in Bend, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have hands-on finishing experience, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship. You'll work in a clean, professional environment using top-tier finishing materials and spray systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prep cabinet parts: sanding, sealing, and repairing surfaces.
  • Mix, match, and apply stains, paints, and clear finishes.
  • Spray finishes using HVLP or air-assisted airless systems.
  • Maintain spray booth and equipment for top performance.
  • Inspect parts for finish quality, color match, and smoothness.
  • Collaborate with production team to meet schedule and quality goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in cabinet or furniture finishing.
  • Skilled with lacquer, conversion varnish, polyurethane, and waterborne coatings.
  • Strong color-matching and blending skills.
  • Experience with automated finishing systems (e.g., CEFLA) is a plus.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
