Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
- Administer anesthesia and manage pain control during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatrics and endodontics.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Ability to perform pediatric dentistry with a compassionate approach towards young patients.
- Familiarity with infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Effective communication skills for educating patients about their oral health.
- Experience with oral surgery techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
