Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
  • Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
  • Administer anesthesia and manage pain control during procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide optimal patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatrics and endodontics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ability to perform pediatric dentistry with a compassionate approach towards young patients.
  • Familiarity with infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Effective communication skills for educating patients about their oral health.
  • Experience with oral surgery techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
