About The Role
The
Manufacturing Operations Analyst
is responsible for participating in the development and implementation of process analysis tools and measurement systems. The scope of responsibility covers business processes in manufacturing, warehousing, and the global supply chain.

What You Will Do

• Support the Industrial Engineering team in turning data into information, information into insights, and insights into key business decisions that steer the direction of the manufacturing organization.
• Support industrial engineers, business process owners, and leadership in defining data and analysis needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines in building analysis packages for collecting & analyzing data that will be used for improved business decision making.
• Support the industrial engineering team on projects related to data validation & reporting, visualization of results, and documentation.
• Support the industrial engineering team in developing & maintenance of analysis tools for business decision making. Support user needs with troubleshooting and updates to keep tools abreast of changes in the business process.
• Participate in production floor data collection for validation & testing of new solutions.
• Use SQL or similar tools to query available data sets to provide insights and reports according to requests from stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis support to identify trends that drive business performance.
• Serve as a focal point for industrial data reporting, analysis, and visualization of results.
• Rapidly deliver concepts and prototypes that can be presented to industrial engineers and management for feedback.

• Associate's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in manufacturing environments required.
• Experience with analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or equivalents.
• Growth mindset: you believe in continuous learning by dedication of time, effort and energy.
• Takes independent initiative to complete projects with a sense of urgency.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).

ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,500 - $70,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
