Position Summary:
Join our Ackerman Insurance team as an Insurance Sales Agent. We are seeking sales professionals. Having a Property & Casualty 2-20 or 4-40 License is a plus but Ackerman Insurance will also train and sponsor candidates who would like to obtain the necessary licenses to grow in this career.
Candidates must be driven, detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and professional customer service skills to effectively work with new and existing customers. In this role, you must be a people person. We strive to put our clients' minds at ease by advising on their insurance coverage needs. You can address customers concerns and fears by going the extra mile to find solutions.

- Be a fantastic presenter
- Have excellent communication/interpersonal and writing skills
- Be confident and works well independently
- Not be afraid of cold calling and working the phones. The more calls you make, the more deals you close. This is a non-negotiable principle because it's all a numbers game
Job Duties include:
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, Boat Dealers, Marinas, etc.
- Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
- Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, Facebook, twitter and lead database.
- Marketing, quoting, and selling of new Homeowners Insurance Policies.
- Marketing, quoting, and selling of new Auto Insurance, Boats, Motorcycles and RV etc.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Combination of Base Salary & Commission
- 1st year sales agents earn between $70K - $100K+.
- 2nd and 3rd year top producers earn between $100K - $300K.
- Unlimited earning potential with commissions - we do not cap commissions.

Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty 4-40 or 2-20 License.
- Sales Experience is required.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
- Background check will be conducted.

Pay: $70, $150,000.00 per year
