Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled and versatile Content Writer to join our Brand Marketing team. This role blends storytelling, strategy and sharp execution across a wide range of channels—from brand and campaign copy to digital, social, blog and product content. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer who can move fluidly between voices and brands, developing copy that's compelling, on-brand, and built to perform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead concepting and copywriting across campaigns, product launches, brand storytelling, and marketing initiatives.
- Write and edit content for digital, retail, and owned channels, including websites, email, SMS, paid media, social, in-store signage, and video scripts.
- Translate brand strategy and positioning into clear, consistent, consumer-facing language.
- Manage multiple brand narratives simultaneously—balancing creative voice with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Designers, Strategists and Marketers to ensure copy enhances visual and experiential storytelling.
- Oversee copy development timelines, maintain editorial consistency, and enforce best-in-class writing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in consumer-facing CPG, lifestyle or retail brands.
- Proven ability to craft smart, engaging and on-voice copy across diverse formats and platforms.
- Strong understanding of brand tone, storytelling, and audience segmentation.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multi-brand or agency environment.
- Excellent editorial judgment, grammar and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SEO, digital UX copy best practices, and performance-driven content.
Verano Base Pay Range
$65,000 - $75,000
Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location of the role. Roles may be eligible for annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
