About the Project:
We're building DemaDose, a no-code/low-code mobile app platform that empowers small businesses to design and deploy apps without writing code. Our stack includes React Native, Expo, , and modern deployment tooling. We currently have a team of UI/UX designers and developers, and we're looking for someone to step into a hybrid leadership role to help guide the team through the final development stages.
The Role:
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager & Technical Lead (Internship) to support project execution, lead weekly team meetings, and provide technical direction. You'll act as the bridge between the Project Manager and the development/design teams ensuring deliverables are on schedule, new features are properly planned, and the team has the clarity needed to execute.
This role is open to both students and industry professionals who want hands-on leadership experience in both project management and technical development, with exposure to real-world startup operations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead weekly developer/design team meetings and track progress against milestones.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to execute the roadmap and keep the project on schedule.
- Translate new feature requests into clear, actionable developer tasks.
- Research best practices and implementation strategies (using AI tools and search engines) to guide feature development.
- Review pull requests and ensure code quality using tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Provide technical support and mentoring for the development team.
- Coordinate deployments across iOS and Android using Expo/EAS.
- Manage integrations such as RevenueCat (subscriptions), payment gateways, and monorepo setup.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the dev team on technical and task-related issues.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Computer Science or related technical background.
- Strong technical experience with:
- React Native & Expo (strong experience preferred)
- & Supabase
- EAS builds, Android/iOS deployment
- RevenueCat & payment gateways
- Monorepo management
- JavaScript/TypeScript experience (minimum requirement).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Strong research skills (searching for solutions, optimal implementations).
- Basic knowledge of project management practices (Agile, task planning, communication).
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and support a distributed team.
Compensation:
- This is an unpaid internship, with the option for equity (0.25%–2%) based on commitment and long-term involvement.
- Equity is only offered for candidates who commit beyond one year.
Duration:
- This is an open-ended internship. Commitment length will be discussed during the interview.
